First I love this song. Nicholas tells a hell of a story. I like the bass on this one because normally we had me on upright doing bowing and then adding a simple bass line, while Scott K would lay out a bass riff with the electric bass. When we recorded it, we realized the electric bass was off a bit. I went back and laid down a new bass line. It was my first experience doing that. It took me about 30 minutes with head phones on replaying the bass going back and forth between the bow and plucking. I finally got a good take all the way through.
