UPRIGHT AND ELECTRIC BASS, ACOUSTIC AND ELECTRIC GUITAR, MANDOLIN, KEYS, FIDDLE, DRUMS (sort of:>), VOCALS, SONG WRITER, SOUND ENGINEER (sort of:>), AND PRODUCER

I was a bit of a late comer to music. I developed a passion for music and began to play around the age 30. While getting my PhD at Virginia Tech, at the time, a stranger and prominent member of the New River Valley Old Time community,  Bill Richardson convinced me to play upright bass for his southern string band “The Jugbusters”. After enjoying 6 great years of friendship, music, and gigs with the Jugbusters, the call of family and the White Mountains lured me back home to NH. I've always loved dancing with my bass. But, now I am focusing on fiddle and mandolin. Over the past 20+ years I have been teaching myself and learning from others how to play and record multiple instruments, song writing, and producing albums. I enjoy playing both upright and electric bass, Acoustic and Electric guitar, mandolin, piano, keys, singing, a little drums, and most recently fiddle. I have played out with and/or recorded with many bands covering several genres of music over the years. Beyond the Jugbusters, I also played with Paul Clark and the Lonesome Drifters, The Ecotones, Spooky Legs, Uncle Larry, Jackass Menagerie, Tmud and the Spuds, Cody and Company, Highway 77, Colonel Cletus and the Swamp Yankees, The Hickory Horned Devils, The Sustainabillies, and Type A, Peabody's Coal Train, the Part Timers, Tyler Road, and the Deep Fried Satellites. I am currently playing with Joey Clark and the Big Hearts and Danny Savage. I grew up in New Boston, NH - moved away for 20 years and now live in Concord, NH - I teach Earth and Environmental Science at Goffstown High School. Music is my passion and I look forward to sharing music with folks all about.
