TMud and the Spuds were mainly a New Boston born and raised all acoustic band. Band members included Tyler Mudrick (vocals and guitar), Mac Holmes (vocals, harmonica, guitar, mandolin), Cody Howe (banjo and mandolin), Larry Houghton (Stand-up bass and vocals). For special occasions, we also added M.C. Archer (Fiddle and vocals), Robbie Otto doing sound or on Drums, and Phil Clarner on guitar, banjo and vocals. We played a unique blend of original tunes, traditional, folk, and bluegrass music. Our music was heavily influenced by a variety of traditional and bluegrass bands, as well as bands like, Old and in the Way, Bob Dylan, the Band, the Grateful Dead, and the David Grisman band. Our music appealed to all ages. We had fans ranging from as young as 2 years old to our oldest fan at 80+years. Any time we could, we huddled around 1 mic in the old school tradition.

Tmud with Mac missing - ignore the beginning

This is fun because it shows the seriously low tech recording we were working with.
